COPM has been in business for over 7 years and collectively Susan and I have over 25 years experience in insurance billing on both sides of the fence. We manage large and small practices and specialize in mental health billing, start up companies, and credentialing. Our approach is to customize our services to the needs of our clients. We can help as little or as much as is required of your organization. We also like to be onsite as often and whenever needed by our clients.
Mental health practices have unique requirements and services that need to be met - insurance verification, authorizations, credentialing, claims follow-up. COPM provides these services so counselors can focus on patient care and growing her/his practice.
We understand the importance of timely claims submission, and are aggressive at following up on services that have not been paid, or have been denied for inappropriate reasons. We also understand the impact of patient responsibility on an organization's bottom line, and encourage a consistent approach to collecting patient balances.
